Job Profile

Love property? Love people? Let’s talk.

We’re Reeds Rains—part of the local property scene since 1868—and we’re looking for a friendly, driven Estate Agent Negotiator to join our team in Pontefract.

This isn’t just about letting or selling houses (though we do a lot of that). It’s about helping people make big life moves. Whether it’s their first flat or their forever home, you’ll be there to guide them, support them, and keep the process as smooth as possible!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Showing people around properties
  • Helping clients make offers, and negotiating deals that work for everyone
  • Keeping in touch with buyers, sellers, tenants & landlords so they’re never left in the dark
  • Spotting new opportunities and helping the branch grow
  • Working with a great team to hit targets and celebrate wins
  • Generate new business & cultivate connections
  • Creating & progressing the deals through to completion.

What we’re looking for:

  • A confident communicator who enjoys chatting with people
  • Sales or customer service experience (estate agency background = bonus)
  • Someone who stays calm when things get busy
  • A team player who’s also happy working independently
  • A full driving licence and your own vehicle (showing homes waits for no one)
  • Someone with drive, energy & a can do attitude.

What you’ll get:

  • A competitive salary plus commission—your effort = your reward
  • Full training and support to help you build your career
  • A fun, friendly team who’ve always got your back
  • The chance to work with a respected name in property—and actually enjoy coming to work
  • 5 day working week
  • 25 days holiday excluding Bank Holidays
  • Loyalty days for length of service
  • Company events
  • ARLA / Propertymark qualifications
  • Career Progression

Think it’s a good fit?

If you like variety, enjoy helping people, and want a job where no two days are the same, we’d love to hear from you.

Driving licence is essential.
